Congratulations to Tyger sprinter Claire Basilone and tennis star Josh Laux on being selected as this week's Jersey Mike's Above and Beyond Players of the Week.

Claire, a junior, ran her first ever 400 meter race and placed first with a time of 1:11. She also ran a leg of the Tygers 4x200 meter relay with a time of 1:56.8.. Coach Bessick said, "Claire has been working hard in practice and is becoming a team leader." 

Josh went 3-0 in his matches last week. He scored straight set victories over West Holmes (6-0, 6-2), Mount Vernon (6-3, 6-4) and Galion (7-6, 7-5).
