Prospect Elementary School children rehearse a final time for Thursday afternoon’s spring concert. Prospect
Elementary School kindergarten and first-grade students have been practicing
for eight weeks for the spring concert they will perform for families, friends
and staff Thursday afternoon.
The 2 p.m.
program will be in the gym.
“I guess you could say it’s all about spring,” said music teacher Douglas Lizak. “The students are very excited.”
Lizak led a
final dress rehearsal Wednesday morning. The two grades took turns on the
stage.
Kindergarten students will sing “Itsy Bitsy Spider” and “Wiggleworm Statute.”
First-graders will perform “Puppies” and “Mousie in the Snow.”
The two grades will combine to sing “I Think My School’s a Spaceship” and “See You Later Alligator.”
A dance
performance also is planned.
