Connie Beamer will be among nearly 60 crafters at Saturday’s show at Senior High. Looking for the perfect handmade
crafts for holiday decorating or gifts? The Mansfield Senior High School Band
Boosters have just what you need.
The boosters will sponsor a craft
show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday (Nov. 23) in the Senior High commons and
gymnasium.
Band Boosters president Linda
Sheldon, an in-school intervention specialist at Woodland Elementary School,
said proceeds from the sale will be used in many ways.
“This is our first craft show. We are raising money for new uniforms, instruments and music,” Sheldon said. “We also feed the band and visiting bands after halftime shows during football season.”
Crafts at Saturday’s show will run the gamut of fabric, wood, metal, cloth and everything in between.
“As of today we have 56 crafters who will set up booths and displays,” said band parent Jackie Shaffer who is helping to organize the show. “They include many well-known area crafters and some from as far away as Delaware, Ohio.”
The boosters will serve sell pizza,
sandwiches, Tyger tacos, soft drinks and water during the show.
Admission will be $1 with children
under 12 free.
