ACADEMIC CLUBS

• Book Club 
Mondays 2:45 - 3:45
Enhance your reading skills with this fun and interactive reading club. Students will read, write, and discuss books to increase their reading ability and scores.

  Poetry Club  
Tuesdays 3:45 - 4:45
 Enjoy poetry written by local teenagers, explore other poetry, and be inspired to write your own. 

 Math Club   
Monday & Wednesday 2:45 - 3:45
 Cavalier Hoops, Tutoring, and Math Games. Designed to help students build on their math skills using interactive math concepts. 

Science  
 Tuesdays & Thursdays 2:45 - 3:45
Using experiments from COSI, students explore the weird world of science! Design Science Fair Projects. 

Homework Help (Monday through Friday 2:45 - 3:45) - Designed for all students who might need homework help. 


HEALTH AND WELLNESS

 Girl Talk  
Thursdays 2:45 - 4:45
 Be Bold, Be Courageous, and Be Beautifully You. Girl Talk is a leadership program designed to help other girls connect and reach their fullest potential. 

Yoga  
Thursdays 2:45
Build strength in your body and mind in this beginner yoga and mindfulness flow. 

 Growth Mindset   
Thursdays 3:45
Do you want a positive mind? This club is for you. You will dig deep into your mind to develop that positive mindset to help you be successful and confident 


CAREER TECHNOLOGY

  Cooking Club   
Wednesdays 2:45 - 3:45
 We will be learning the basics in baking, soups, main courses, salads, and appetizers. Put on your apron and let's get cooking! 

  Cosmetology  
Tuesdays 2:45 - 3:45
Build your self-esteem through make-up, hair styling, nail application. We will also do some team-building and self-confidence exercises.

  ArtCenter STEAM Club  
 Wednesdays 2:45 - 4:45
Learn how art intertwines with science, technology, engineering, and math (STEAM). Students will have weekly lessons with an Art Center Consultant. Art opportunities include ceramics, glass fusion, and drawing basics. After the club, an Art Show and Reception will be held for the students to show off their art projects to family and friends at the Art Center. Don't miss out on all the STEAM fun. 

Make It, Take It  
Mondays 2:45 - 3:45
Get in touch with your creative side! Design and make your own jewelry such as bracelets, and necklaces, as well as learn other crafts such as making pendants, painting your own birdhouses, making friendship bracelets, stencil signs, sports team, and/or mascot painting, and other crafts that may interest you. This class is for both males and females. You may just learn a fun new hobby and find talents you never knew you had. 

  Robotics   
Mondays 2:45 - 4:45
Learn building and coding for robotics. 

  Tyger Code and Drone   
Tuesdays 2:45 - 3:45
Using Google's CS First program students code with Scratch. With Scratch, you can program your own interactive stories, games, and animations - and share your creations with others in the online community. Scratch helps young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively - essential skills for like in the 21st century. 

  Young Entrepreneurs  
Tuesdays & Thursdays 2:45 - 3:45
Have you ever dreamed about owning your own business or becoming a school leader, or a future career? Do you have an idea for a product or a new way of doing something? If so, join the Young Entrepreneurs Club at Mansfield Middle School.
