Congratulations to freshman Ta'Neyah Hammock and senior Ahmaan Thomas on being selected as this week's Jersey Mike's Above and Beyond Players of the Week.

Both Ta'Neyah and Ahmaan are members of the Tygers' track team. They competed last week at the 92nd Annual Mehock Relays. Ta'Neyah was the Lady Tyger's top individual finisher. She placed 11th in the long jump with a leap of 15'1". She also ran in the 100-meter hurdles as well as a leg of the team's 10th-place finishing 4x200 meter relay. Ahmaan was the top placer for the boy's squad. His toss of 41' 2" in the shot put was good for 14th in a field of 32 competitors.
