Board of education will meet in special session on Thursday, July 19

      The Mansfield City Schools Board of Education will consider administrative and teaching appointments during a special session at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 19, at the Raemelton administration building, 856 W. Cook Road.

      Specifically, the board will act on the appointment of Milton Folson, Ph.D. as grades 7-12 principal and a change of status to name Scott T. Musser as Career Technical Education director. Musser most recently served as interim principal of Mansfield Senior High.

      Also on the agenda is consideration of a contract with SOAR (Student Outreach Alternative Resource) to provide services to students who have been suspended or expelled due to behavior.

      The board’s next regularly scheduled meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. on July 26 at Raemelton.
