as grades 7-12 principal. An assistant
principal at Thomas Worthington High School last year will fill the newly
created position of grades 7-12 principal at Mansfield Senior High and
Mansfield Middle School.
Milton V.
Folson, Ph.D. was appointed to the post Thursday evening on a 5-0 vote of the

Administration
of Mansfield Senior High and Mansfield Middle School will be restructured for
the coming school year. Folson will oversee the entire building while an
assistant principal will be assigned to each grade.
The board
also unanimously approved the return of Scott Musser to the role of Career Tech
Education director, the position he was hired to fill a year ago. Musser had
served as Senior High interim principal during much of the past year.
Folson and Musser each recieved two-year contracts.
Folson said
interaction with others is a key element of his approach to his work.
“I will collaborate with teachers, all staff, students and parents to help students be college and career ready,” he before the board meeting. “And I will collaborate with students in ways that they see themselves contributing to their community and to society in general.
“I feel that I have a lot to offer the community and the community has a lot to offer me.”
