The Mansfield Middle School Academic Challenge Team and advisors, Mr. Wright and Ms. Massey, were awarded a grant to attend the Ohio Supreme Court in Columbus, OH. The trip featured 22 members of the Challenge Team, and an additional 13 students who have been working towards PBIS goals in attendance, behavior, and academics. Students spent some time learning and discussing court cases, and how the court system operated, before attending the interactive, hands-on mock trial room. TYGERS represented our school positively in the state capital. Special thanks to Mr. Chris diDonato at Pizza Rustica for the space for lunch, and Mr. Jake Eckelberry for assisting in coordinating the trip.
