Ms. Nabb, Ms. Phelps, and Ms. Hunt’s 7th graders, Class of 2027, planted a Weeping Cherry tree last Friday at Mansfield Middle School in recognition of Earth Day. Students also took advantage of the beautiful day by creating sidewalk chalk art, writing reflections on the reasons we celebrate Earth Day, and enjoying games and coming together to relax after state testing. A 6 Word Story competition will help to commemorate the event, with the winning story from 7th-grade votes permanently displayed on a plaque, soon to be placed nearby.
