Today Ms. Dials's class started The Rolling Bean. It is a coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and donut cart for the staff. Each week she will choose 2 different students to deliver pre-ordered treats. One student will only deal with the food and the other will only deal with the money and making change. This is a great activity for meeting their transition goals on their IEP. The Rolling Bean will be open every Friday morning during 1st period. Their goal is to raise money for families in need at Christmas time and possibly a field trip at the end of the school year.
