The public will have an opportunity to greet Superintendent-elect Stan Jefferson at the Mansfield City Schools Board of Education meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the Dutton Community Room at Mansfield Senior High. At the conclusion of regular business, the board will recess for 30 minutes to allow Jefferson to interact with the audience. Jefferson, who was hired on May 28, will begin his duties on Aug. 1.
The board
then will enter into executive session to consider the employment of a public
employee or official.
