Distribution of sack lunches and breakfasts to Mansfield City Schools students will end on Monday, June 1, students’ final day on the 2019-2020 school calendar. That same
day Mansfield UMADAOP will begin distributing free breakfasts and lunches each weekday
through Aug. 7.
Mansfield
City Schools has provided sacked meals each weekday since buildings were closed
in mid-March due to the COVID-19 threat. Initial distribution was at Mansfield
Senior High and Malabar Intermediate School. Springmill STEM Elementary was added
later.
The
Mansfield UMADAOP Outreach Center, 215 N. Trimble Road, will distribute free
breakfasts and lunches from 8 to 9:30 a.m. and 12 to 1:30 p.m. Monday through
Friday. Delivery also will be available.
Food will be
provided by the Cleveland Food Bank.
Flyers about
the UMADOAP food program have been provided to families who picked up sacked
meals at Senior High, Malabar and Springmill STEM.
Registration
for the UMADAOP program requires parent or guardian name, address and phone
number, the number of children in the household and whether meals will be
picked up or delivered.
