MCS was awarded a grant to host an inclusion camp (
https://www.fmamfg.org/foundation/inclusion). The goal is to make sure individuals with disabilities have an opportunity to get some additional help with both job training and employability skills over the summer.
Students who attend the camp will 1) tour several local businesses that focus on the manufacturing/engineering/robotics trades, 2) complete on-site projects in the trades listed in number 1; 3) complete piecework in the high school makerspace, 4) earn work based learning hours toward graduation and 5) learn an industry recognized credential (both 4 and 5 can be used toward graduation).
