We're happy to report that yesterday a local high school class from Mansfield Senior High School helped us install Bluebird Boxes on the northern part of the B&O Trail! As part of a class project 34 poles were installed across the northern 3 miles of the trail. Next spring Bluebird boxes constructed by the kids will be installed in hopes of providing nesting sites for native birds! Given the wooded nature of the northern part of the trail we are expecting mostly House Wrens, and Carolina Chickadees to nest in these boxes.
