Middle School & Senior High School Remote Learning information

Message from the Superintendent

Students in grades 7-12 at Mansfield Senior High and Mansfield Middle School, 124 North Linden Road, will attend school remotely beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, January 12, 2022. Students will follow their daily schedule as if they were attending school in person.

Career Technical Education students will need to report on a modified schedule to complete required labs.

Remote learning will take place from January 12th through January 21st. (No school for students and staff January 17, 2022, Martin Luther King Day).

It is our intention for students to return to in person learning on Monday, January 24, 2022.

Mansfield Middle School 21st Century Clubs will continue remotely during this time.

Meals will be available for daily pick-up at Senior High from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm beginning Wednesday, January 12th. Breakfast and lunch will be provided in one bag for each student. Meals will be provided daily for CTE students in-building.

If your student will need a Hot-Spot for remote learning or if any assistance is needed with your district-issued Chromebook, please contact the Technology Department at 419-525-6400 ext.7014

The administration has made the decision to go to remote learning due to the  increase in absences from staff and students. Hopefully, this period of time  that we are remote will slow down the spread and give those already ill, time to recuperate.

CTE Students Remote Learning Information

CTE students will report to the high school for periods 1, 2, 6, and 7 on the regularly scheduled days.  For students who are regularly transported by the school busses - Buses will pick students up from their assigned pick up and drop the students off at the high school at approximately 7:05 am for breakfast.  Students will be dismissed from the high school at 10:48 am and returned by the bus to their regular drop-off spot.  Students should then sign in remotely to their 4th, 5th, and 8th-period classes at their regularly scheduled time. Walkers, drivers, and parent pick-ups should be transported as usual with their pick-up scheduled for 10:48 am.  All of the CTE students' names were provided to the bus garage so if (for example) a walker needs to ride the bus and, they are within the bus routes, they can ride the bus.
