A proposal
to provide a Chromebook for every student to use during the school day will be
considered by the Mansfield City Schools Board of Education when it meets in
special session at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The
presentation will be made by Fayette Adams, director of technology, and Stephen
Rizzo, chief academic officer.
Superintendent
Stan Jefferson’s recommendation to purchase the Chromebooks also includes the
purchase of LCD interactive panels, including document cameras, in all learning
environments. The resolution would authorize the treasurer to solicit bids for
installation of the LCD panels.
Also on the
agenda are routine contract and human
resources actions.
