Chromebooks on board of education's agenda Tuesday

The Mansfield City Schools Board of Education will act on a resolution to purchase Chromebooks and LCD panels (large classroom display screens) during its regular monthly meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 17.

The measure would assure that every student in preschool through 12th grade would have a Chromebook for use during the school day. Specifically, the resolution would authorize the purchase of 1,940 additional Chromebooks and 174 LCD panels to supplement equipment already in place.

The board also will consider a $149,150 proposal from Gardiner for a heating, ventilation and air-conditioning system for the boys and girls locker rooms at Malabar Intermediate School.

The complete agenda can be found by clicking on the board of education link at tygerpride.com. Tuesday’s meeting will be at the Raemelton administration building, 856 West Cook Road.
