Spring Testing Through May 2021

Mansfield City Schools will begin spring state testing on Wednesday, April 14, 2021. The district will take advantage of the extended window provided by the Ohio Department of Education - due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The assessments will provide students, families, teachers, and administration an academic blueprint to move forward following the unique challenges of the 2020-2021 school year.

Per the Ohio Department of Education, state tests must be taken in person.  For students enrolled in the remote-only pathway, Tyger Digital Academy (TDA), accommodations are in place to ensure accessibility.  Bus transportation can be provided upon request.

  • TDA students in grades K-6 will report to Mid-Ohio Educational Service (MOESC) Center at 890 W. 4th Street for in-person proctored testing on their respective testing days. Lunch will be provided at MOESC.

  • TDA students in grades 7-12 will take students at their home school building where tests will be proctored in-person.

Testing will continue through May 14, 2021. Dates and times vary by grade and academic subject. Students should arrive for testing with charged Chromebooks and headphones.  Please ensure your child gets a good night’s sleep, eats a nutritious breakfast, and comes prepared to do their best.
