“The skills I learned at Mansfield Senior High's automotive program 𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛- 𝙨𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙮. It was a wonderful feeling to graduate and make almost three times the minimum hourly wage.” he said. Mansfield Senior High’s CTE program prepares students with a trade upon graduation.

“I came back to teach after a successful 20 years of field experience. I love that I have the chance to show these students how the mechanical world works and think that I get more satisfaction out of their successes than they do!”

“I grew up in the country and went to a school not too far away in distance but light years away in open mindedness,” says Nate Hess, teacher at Mansfield Senior High. “I go to work every day to 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙚 𝙢𝙮 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 into successful Tygers and am fortunate enough to learn from them and grow with them.”

Today, alum Erika Hamner shares her 🧡 for Mansfield City Schools! “Looking back, Senior High has been one of my best memories,” she said. “I played a lot of sports and met a lot of good people that I still keep in touch with.” We love hearing from our alumni and seeing the various paths they chose!  #HearUsRoar   

This fall, Mr. Kentosh will celebrate his 41st year teaching in the classroom -- 27 of those years have been spent with Mansfield Senior High. Of all the places he’s taught, “I have enjoyed Mansfield Senior High School the most,” he said.
