Food, classroom visits and door prizes will be part of Malabar Intermediate School’s math and literacy night on Thursday (Oct. 23).
At 5:30 p.m. students and their families will be welcomed to the cafeteria for dinner that will feature sloppy joes, macaroni and cheese, cookies and brownies.
At 6:10 p.m. visitors will select the first of three 20-minute classroom sessions from more than a dozen offerings. Teachers will lead interactive presentations in math and literacy to demonstrate to parents and others what students are learning.
At 7:15 p.m. visitors will return to the cafeteria for door-prize drawings that will include gift cards.
