The
Mansfield City Schools Board of Education will consider approval of an employee
severance plan when it meets in special session at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb.
5. The voluntary plan is aimed at employees at or near the top of the pay scale. It is a proactive cost-saving step to help avoid steep cuts in educational programs and potential layoffs while maintaining the highest possible educational standards.
The board also
will act on routine personnel actions before moving into executive session.
The meeting
will be at the Raemelton administration building, 856 W. Cook Road.
