Soup supper will benefit homeless shelter

The Harmony House Soup Supper will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday (March 27) at the Ontario United Methodist Church, 3540 Park Avenue West.

This annual event, a major fundraiser for the local homeless shelter, will feature more than 50 different delicious soups. For only a $5 donation, participants may sample as many soups as they like and enjoy a hot dog, relish tray, dessert and beverage.

A silent auction will feature an assortment of donated items. An 80 by 64-inch handmade Ohio State quilt will be raffled. Tickets may be purchased at the State and Federal Office at the Raemelton administration building, 856 W. Cook Road; the main office at Senior High School or from friends of Harmony House for $1 or six for $5.

All soups, prizes and services will be donated, including a soup prepared by the Senior High culinary arts department.

The Senior High Key Club and the Mansfield City Schools S.A.F.E. homeless program will serve and assist guests at the supper.
