Board will meet Tuesday; no action on recovery plan

The Mansfield City Schools Board of Education will meet in regular session at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, at the Raemelton administration building, 856 W. Cook Road.

There will no action on the district’s financial recovery plan.

Tuesday’s agenda includes a presentation by VLN Partners, LLC, on the feasibility of establishing a district online school.

The board will meet jointly with the Financial Planning and Supervision Commission at 4 p.m. on April 22 in the Mansfield Senior High auditorium. The commission is expected to vote on a final version of the district recovery plan – including building closings and realignments as well as a reduction in force -- for submission to the Ohio Department of Education.

The board of education will convene again immediately after the commission session to act on the recovery plan.
