The Mansfield Senior High School choir will be featured on WMFD TV once on Christmas Eve and five times on Christmas Day.
The choir’s taped performance is part of WMFD’s 2014 Holiday Spectacular. Program director Brad Francis said the shows will air on Richland County Time Warner channel 15 and WMFD in HD on channel 1015.
The choir will be featured at 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Christmas Day times are 1 a.m., 6 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Four days of the Holiday Spectacular also are planned starting Monday on WOHZ TV (WMFD DT-2) which will air on Time Warner channel 16.
Senior High’s air times on WOHZ TV are:
Monday – 4 a.m., 8 a.m., 12 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
Tuesday – 12:30 a.m., 4:30 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 5 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Christmas Eve – 1 a.m., 5 a.m., 9 a.m., 1 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
Christmas Day – 1:30 a.m., 5:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
Among the several numbers the choir will sing, director Dirk Eachus said, are “Go Tell It on the Mountain,” “We need a little Christmas,” “Fruitcake” and “Glory Hallelujah.”
