District facilities, treasurer's office featured on weekly TV show

A summer inspection of the physical condition of schools and a report on district finances will be the topics on this week’s edition of WMFD TV’s “Inside Mansfield City Schools.”

Guests for the first half of the program will be Scott McKenzie of Dynamix Energy Services and former Mansfield Senior High principal and coach Stan Jefferson. They were part of a team that included Dynamix engineers who inspected infrastructure systems in all buildings, then issued a report to the board of education last month.

The second half of the show will feature district treasurer Robert Kuehnle. He will discuss Mansfield City Schools’ fiscal posture nearly two years after the district was released from state-imposed fiscal emergency.

The program will air on Spectrum channel 16 in Mansfield at 8 o’clock tonight, 4 p.m. on Saturday and 3 p.m. on Sunday. The show also is accessible on wmfd.com by going to “video and audio” at the top of the page, then scrolling down to “Inside Mansfield City Schools.”
