Senior High crowns Mahoganey Gaither as 2018 homecoming queen

The Mansfield Senior High senior homecoming court includes Erika Taylor, Alyvia Wilcox, Don’jeon Reese, Queen Mahoganey Gaither and Amya Williams.

      Mahoganey Gaither is Mansfield Senior High School’s 2018 homecoming queen. She was crowned during an assembly Friday afternoon in the auditorium.

      Her senior attendants are Erika Taylor, Alyvia Wilcox, Don’jeon Reese and Amya Williams.

      The entire court will reign at tonight’s homecoming football game when the Tygers meet Wooster. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

      Underclass attendants are freshman Tamia Clark, sophomore Azaria Avila and junior Bailey Compton.

      Escorts included: freshman Jason Johnson, sophomore Nasier Nixon, junior Drake Hill and seniors Perrell Cameron, Alamar Grose, Tavion Harris, Jamarius Lloyd and Jaywuan Peavy.

      “Met Gala” will be the theme of the homecoming dance from 8 to 11 p.m. Saturday in the Senior High commons.
