The Mansfield City Schools Board of Education will meet in regular monthly session at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21, at Malabar Intermediate School.
After convening in the cafeteria the board will recess to dedicate the Malabar library in honor of Maxine Johnson. Mrs. Johnson, who served more than 32 years in the district, was library media paraprofessional at Malabar before her recent passing. A brief reception will follow.
The board also will act on a resolution to approve school calendars for 2017-18 and 2018-19.
In other business the board will hear a workforce diversity plan presentation by Mark Manley, director of personnel and Teresa James, personnel assistant.
Also on the agenda is adoption of K-6 social studies textbooks for the Spanish Immersion School.
