Woodland Lawn Fete set to kick off at 4:30 on Friday

      The 78th Woodland Elementary School Lawn Fete will be 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, May 18 at 460 Davis Road.

      Principal Kim Johnson said the evening will include a petting zoo, bouncy houses, games, food and, of course, the Lawn Fete raffle.

      Raffle proceeds benefit the school. The raffle will begin at 8:15 p.m. and winners do not have to be present. Tickets are $2 each or three for $5.

      First prize in the raffle is a one-year family membership to the YMCA of Mansfield, valued at $1,010. Other prizes include:

      Second – Four tickets to the Cleveland Indians vs. Minnesota Twins at 1:10 p.m. on Sunday, June 17, donated by Skybox.

      Third – Two days (one weeknight stay) at Harbor View for four people and use of a golf cart on Put-in-Bay, two adult Miller Ferry tickets and two Cedar Point tickets.

      Fourth – A 50-inch flat-screen TV donated by Spaulding & Kitzler, LLC.

      Fifth – A Little Buckeye Children’s Museum reciprocal birthday membership.

      Sixth – A day of winter fun at Snow Trails (lessons, lift or tubing passes) and a $25 pizza gift card.
