Health is a course required for graduation. A variety of techniques/methods/activities are used to investigate the following areas: wellness, the body, physical fitness and nutrition, diseases, consumer education, safety and first-aid-CPR, mental health, assertiveness, family living (including teen pregnancy and abuse) sexually transmitted diseases (AIDS), and drugs, tobacco, and alcohol.

Physical Education is a course consisting of activities in and knowledge of the following: physical fitness, football, volleyball, soccer, weights, dance fitness, basketball, softball, golf, and recreation games.

The class will center around physical fitness as in flexibility, strength training, general nutrition, and cardiovascular fitness. Members of the class will be exposed to lecture materials, practical work and lab settings.
