About the Community

Mansfield is ideally located near the center of Ohio. With a city population of 49,000 plus several suburbs, Mansfield is large enough to provide a sampling of the very best of America. The city has a sophisticated fine arts center and top-notch theater. There also is a world-class horticultural center, as well as world class auto racing. Mansfield boasts 28 parks encompassing 435 acres. Carrousel Park provides amusement for children and adults. It is home to North Central State College and a branch of The Ohio State University. Ashland University is located nine miles from Mansfield. Growth at industrial parks around Mansfield Lahm Airport has been spurred by new businesses moving there and the expansion of existing ones.

Because Mansfield is within easy driving distance of Cleveland and Columbus, Mansfielders can take advantage of all that those major metropolitan areas have to offer. The city is located in some of America's most beautiful country, with access to lakes, skiing and other recreational opportunities. But above all, Mansfield is the home of friendly people who want a good education for their children.
